WELCOME TO MY WEBSITE

I have always loved to draw and paint and would have chosen art as a career, but was persuaded to study for a music degree instead. Later, with a young family, I was farming and riding horses professionally, but still drew and painted as a hobby and have continued to this day. I like to show my versatility by trying any medium and a variety of subjects, but mostly specialise in animal paintings and pet portraits in watercolour, In recently years I have painted backdrops for displays, a panel depicting Huntly for the Hero parade, murals and a design of sled dogs for a mosaic.

This is a collection of my work – mostly I like to paint animals and other living things like trees and plants.

Horses and dogs are my great passions, but in the Gallery there are flowers and also some Paintings with a Celtic influence. With an Irish, Welsh and Scottish background I am drawn to Celtic music and design and like to incorporate some of this influence in a modern setting.

The cards on this page are inspired by my hobbies of agility, whippet racing (still to come) and lure coursing.
